James Hogan Invested as an Officer within the Order of Australia

James Hogan was formally invested as an Officer within the Order of Australia in a ceremony at the Australian High Commission in London by the High Commissioner on 24 November 2017.

Mr Hogan was earlier named on the Queen’s birthday honours list, and received the award in recognition of his “distinguished service to the aviation transport industry, to the development of tourism and trade linkages between Australia and the Gulf States, and to international airline associations.”

The Order of Australia is an order of chivalry established by Elizabeth II, in her role as Queen of Australia. The award is made by the Australian Governor General as the Principal Knight and Chancellor of the Order to recognise Australian citizens and other persons for achievement or meritorious service.
